A shared commitment to culture, places, and people
We exist to strengthen cultural routes as a lever for sustainable territorial development.
Routes of Piemonte——Manifesto in Brief
“
Routes of Piemonte is a voluntary coordination of the Council of Europe Cultural Routes active in Piemonte. We come together to connect what already exists, strengthen cooperation, and make cultural routes more visible, accessible, and impactful for communities and visitors.
“
We believe culture is an infrastructure: it builds cohesion, education, dialogue, and sustainable development. Our work is guided by shared values—authenticity and quality, sustainability, inclusion and accessibility, territorial dignity, and cooperation over competition.
“
We are not a new Route. We are a platform that supports each Route’s identity while enabling practical synergies: a shared showcase (mini-site and digital hub), common communication tools, a coordinated calendar, joint projects and events, and an open channel of dialogue with institutions and partners.
“
This is Routes of Piemonte: a shared commitment to culture, places, and people.
“
Routes are not just lines on a map. They are a way to understand Europe through the living heritage of its territories.
“
In the coming months, we will focus
on concrete actions: a unified
narrative for Piemonte as a
European cultural crossroads, a
map of Routes and key sites, a
shared public calendar, joint
visibility initiatives starting with the
press conference, and a pipeline of
pilot projects on education,
accessibility, mobility, and local
value chains.
